Drunkard’s disease

Hardening of the liver (cirrhosis) and alcoholism are closely related. So closely, of course, that cirrhosis is usually called “drunkard’s disease.” Its symptoms accommodates the liver changing its spongelike structure to hard, fibrous tis¬sues. Eventually, blood from the tiny intestines—laden with food components—cannot go through the now hardened liver filters. As cirrhosis progresses, this blood stagnates in the abdominal veins. Result: plasma seeps cut of blood vessels into the abdominal cavity. In creating a study of the causes of alcoholism, Dr. Roger J. Williams, at the University of Texas, found that a want to drink, in itself, can be traced to nutritional deficiencies. Forever Nutri Lean is available in a variety ofcombinations including your flavor choice ofForever Lite Ultra, Aloe Vera drinks*, 1 eachForever Lean, Forever Garcinia Plus, andForever Active Probiotic. In conducting his experiments, Dr. Williams fed laboratory animals so that they became alcoholics or teetotalers—all ac¬cording to the diet given them!
Additionally to sorting out the value of diet in the trend toward alcoholism, Dr. Williams drew alternative valuable con¬clusions from his experiments.

The so-called hereditary tend¬ency toward alcohol is based on the inherited want for larger than normal amounts of bound nutrients. Inherited want for nutrients can vary so greatly among individuals that, strictly speaking, there never can be such a issue as a “a hundred per cent normal diet.” Just as the pituitary gland’s functioning, that might cause individuals to grow short or tall, is inherited, we might, for instance, inherit an undersupply of thiamine. The development of our national diet might, Dr. Williams concludes, partially forestall the alarming trend toward al¬coholism. And, if persons have a compulsive urge to drink excessively, they should be given a diet containing so much higher than the average amounts of bound nutrients. This set up is now being utilized in several Alcoholics Anonymous hospital wards throughout the country. Even better results can be obtained from taking thiamine (vitamin B1) when all the vitamins of the B-advanced group are included.

In University of Toronto experiments, it had been found that rats, when fed B advanced, developed a much higher resistance to disease than those fed diets deficient in a number of the B vitamins. Forever Nutri Lean Pak The new Forever Nutri-Lean Program isdesigned to help you achieve a balancebetween fun and great health. All members of the B advanced are interdependent; they should be taken along, whenever possible. I suggested my businessman to use a smart B-advanced product to fortify himself, nutritionwise, against his daily want to sip a cocktail. I am realistic enough to acknowledge that this govt prob¬ably had a want for a “pickup” to keep off that five-o’clock slump. The most effective pickup I understand of is one he may fix right in his own office. I recommended he mix two teaspoonfuls of honey with two tablespoonfuls of apple or lemon juice and sip it slowly. This “elixir,” known in pioneer days as the hayfield drink, was utilized by farmers to renew strength during their prodigious efforts of “creating hay whereas the sun shines.” Honey is again coming back into its own as the best food to combat the damaging conditions of recent business, with its wear and tear on the human machine.
